Kompendra is built by a practising Chief Compliance Officer and MLRO.
Kompendra started from a plain problem. A regulated firm’s compliance work lived in spreadsheets, inboxes and shared drives. Every inspection meant rebuilding the history by hand, and hoping the rebuilt version matched what had happened.
The idea behind it is simple. Every obligation should trace to the policy that addresses it, the control that puts it into effect, the test that checks it and the evidence that proves it. If those links are kept, and every change is recorded, any report can be reproduced for any date.
We started with Dubai’s virtual asset regulator, VARA, because virtual asset service providers are the firms we build for first. FSRA and DFSA follow in the same structure. The product speaks the vocabulary of UAE regulators before anyone else’s.
Kompendra is proven in live use before it is offered more widely. The first version runs for a full quarter inside a regulated firm before the next set of modules is built on it.
